Bahrain Light Festival 2017 A SUSTAINABLE LIGHTSCULPTURE POWERED BY WIND AND SOLAR POWER The installation is inspired by the toys that delighted generations. Family and children's are invited to learn more about how wind turbines and solar panels can be used as a source of renewable energy. Wind turbine and Solar panels, harness energy from the wind and sun during the day and store it in Batteries, embedded in the pot: at night the stored energy is used to brighten LEDs in the sculpture, The aim is to build awareness on the importance of reducing carbon footprint and pollution, by cutting down the use of fossil fuel, for a sustainable future. SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH THE EYES OF CHILDREN We should increase the knowledge level of future generations, who will have a say in production, management and efficiency, of energy resources.
